From the President's Report 27 July 2026 It gives me great pleasure to introduce our new Umpires Advisor for the 2026/27 season, Sean 'Chook' Ingram. The SMCA Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, 27 July, commencing at 7:00pm at the Thornlie Clubrooms. This is a compulsory meeting for all clubs. Items for discussion must be submitted to the Secretary prior to 5:00pm on Friday, 10 July.

David King has been awarded Life Membership of the South Metropolitan Cricket Association. David has been involved with the SMCA for more than ten years and has contributed across multiple areas of the Association. He has served on the P&D Tribunal, been a long‑standing member of the SMCA Executive, and is the current Senior Vice President.
