🌧️ Wet Weather Guidelines – No Official Umpire Present

In the absence of an official umpire, captains must confer to assess weather-related conditions and determine whether play can proceed. Decisions should be guided by player safety, ground and equipment condition, and the spirit of the game.

⚠️ Factors to Consider:

•              Extreme weather, including lightning

•              Condition of the ball

•              Safety of players

•              Activity on adjoining grounds

•              Avoiding contrived results that disregard genuine weather impact

🧭 Dispute Resolution:

•              If no agreement can be reached between captains, and no official umpire is present, the Match Day Referee must be contacted

•              The referee’s decision is final and will be conveyed to both captains

•              2025–26 Referee: Mario Baeli – 📱 0411 289 136

📋 Match-Specific Rules:

•              In One-Day matches:

•              A minimum of 20 overs per team must be bowled for a result to be achieved

•              If captains agree to play a match with fewer than 20 overs per team, the result shall be recorded as a draw.

Captains who wish to go outside these guidelines (and where there is no official umpire) must contact the Match Day Referee for a decision
