Finals

Next weekends semi finals have been placed on MyCricket. They are unofficial pending some results still outstanding and the possibility of the Administrator finding abnormalities when reviewing the games on Sunday.  Some matches may have venue changes and two matches do not have grounds allocated yet.

Finals - Start Times

All two-day finals commence at 1:00pm. All one-day finals commence at 12:30pm.

Season Abandoned

Message from the President:

It is with great sadness that I must inform our member Clubs that season 2019/2020 has been abandoned effective immediately. This is not a decision that anyone has taken lightly, from Cricket Australia to the WACA to CricketWest, but the health and safety of our players, umpires, supporters, volunteers and wider SMCA family members is paramount. The advice and guidance that the SMCA has received makes it very clear what we must do.

Message From SMCA President - Joint Premierships

It is fair to say that the 2019/2020 season has ended in a way that even a few weeks ago, no one could’ve predicted. The SMCA has never faced such an important and defining moment before, and our forerunners (the South Suburban Cricket Association and the Fremantle & Districts Mercantile Cricket Association), hadn’t dealt with anything like this since World War II.

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures, and as such, the SMCA Committee has taken the extraordinary decision to award JOINT PREMIERSHIPS to the Grand Finalists across each grade. Each Grand Finalist will be given a Premiership flag in due course, but no medallions will be provided by the SMCA.
