Kalon Fabbro asked to appear before the P&D were alerted to Social Media after social media posts that may have breached the SMCA’s Code of Behaviour.

Tribunal notes:

The Armadale captain explained that it was out out character for his player to react this way and their players especially Kalon was targeted on another social media site by a number of Cockburn players, this has since been deleted and wasn’t available. Also some of Cockburn players behaviour after the game in the car park as they were leaving left them frustrated and angry. They also stated that the Cockburn Captain and main offender apologised the next week and Armadale accepted that and shook hands.

Penalty:

The P&D found that Kalon Fabbro had breached the Code of Behaviour but found that he had been targeted by opposition players and reacted in a way that can not be condoned and was suspended for 12 playing dates with 6 of those suspended for 12 months.
