Protests and Disputes
15-02-2011 Anthony Evans, SJ Blues, pleaded guilty to {a} abusing the umpire and {b} threatening or intimidating behaviour towards an umpire. Found guilty of {c} assault of the umpire. A. Evans was suspended forthwith from all cricket matches under the auspices of the SMCA until the completion of the 2011/12 cricket season. SJ Blues CC is to be fined $100.

15-02-2011 Paul Ledingham, Thornlie pleaded not guilty to initiating contact with A. Evans of SJ Blues. Found not guilty.

 

11-12-2010 Wayne Fontana, Riverton Rostrata found guilty of (1) making contact with an opposition player and (2) abusing an umpire. Suspended until Sunday 6th February.

 

27-11-2011 (P&D held 4-01-2011) M Gannaway, Leeming Spartan found guilty of misconduct - as captain of the Leeming-Spartan ODE side, agreed to allow the Southern River captain, James Bubrzycki to name a player under a false name. Suspended until 9th January 2011.

 

 

 

Prescribed Penalty

6-11-2010 Will Badger, Leeming Spartan accepted a 1 match penalty - ineligible to play 13th November, 2010

12-03-2011 Jason Stade, Forrestdale 7th Grade, 1 match penalty.

Administrators Penalty
27-11-2010 Southern River subject to By-Law 46f playing  a player under a false name 

  • Club shall forfeit all points received by their three teams in fixtures played on 27th November.  In the case   of Fifth Grade the match shall be awarded to Thornlie.  In ODB and ODE the results shall stand with the opposition receiving average winning points or their existing points whichever is the greater.
  • The Club is fined $50 for the forfeit in each grade, a total of $150. 
  • The ODE team captain, James Bubrzycki, shall be suspended for one match (8th January)
