Cockburn have withdrawn their ODD team. Teams still scheduled to play Cockburn will now be subject to a bye and receive average winning points.

CLEAN SWEEP OF CRICKET WEST ROUND BY SMCA

All three SMCA sides recorded victories over Swan and Helena Districts Cricket Association on Sunday.

The Seniors batted first and had an 89 run opening partnership before Stuart Riseley (48) was dismissed.

Richie Oliver joined Josh Taylor and put on a 140 run partnership. Josh compiled a very well made 108 and Richie got 60. The final score was 4/258. Swan Helena lost regular wickets and finally finished on 8/223. Mark Fitzgerald took 3 wickets.

The Colts restricted Swan Helena to 143. Jacob Johnson and Mohamad Akbael took 3 wickets each. In reply SMCA made 6/152, built on a great innings of 96 from Jacob Johnson.

The Vets batted first and made 119 with an even spread of runs and then restricted Swan Helena to 115 to record a welcome victory.
